The Glasgow City Council (GCC) Environmental Levy is a charge applied to ticket purchases for large outdoor events. This is used to support the maintenance of parks and key public services in Glasgow. The funding is crucial for the upkeep of parks and greenspaces, as well as for other public infrastructure. The levy is a positive note towards safeguarding the services that the city relies on.
